MOONSTONE AS A PRECIOUS STONE

It belongs to the group of feldspars, its chemical formula is (Na,K)AlSi3O8.

Both Romans and Greeks associated it with their lunar deities. In more recent history, it was very popular within the Art Nouveau period.
