CROW

CROW

The crow represents intelligence. In Nordic mythology two crows accompanied Odin and represented memory and thought.

Among Native Americans, the crow has a meaning of metamorphosis and symbolizes change and transformation; it is also a symbol of magic.

In these two cultures the crow was a central part of their mythology, however, like these, many cultures are far from giving it negative connotations. The Egyptians realized the tendency they maintained to have a single companion for what they considered this bird as a representation of devotion and faithfulness. As for Chinese culture, the crow is identified with masculinity.
